We are looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to join our caring and compassionate team 

 

Purpose of the role

The Financial Services Administrator will work alongside the Client Support Executive Team to meet our client’s needs.

Key responsibilities 

  • Proactively taking responsibility for client administration work to ensure the smooth processing of reports and other supporting documents
  • Liaising directly with clients via telephone, email, and written correspondence to resolve client queries
  • Liaising directly with solicitors and professional deputies, via telephone, email and written correspondence
  • Working closely with the Client Support Executive Team and providing support where needed
  • Supporting the team in preparing reports and documents using templates and guides
  • Maintaining data on our internal systems for all clients ensuring that records are kept accurately and up to date
  • Processing relevant documentation
  • Managing the departments incoming and outgoing mail
  • Scanning /photocopying/filing of client-related documents
  • Recording and processing client’s cheques
  • Preparing and sending out invoices
  • Manage smaller pieces of work to completion, either standalone or as part of larger projects to support the achievement of business objectives

Experience, skills & abilities 

  • Experience in using standard office software products including excel, word and outlook
  • Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including legal representatives
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritise a varied and complex workload, ensuring deadlines are adhered to in accordance with service standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and an exceptional level of accuracy, in particular when producing documents and inputting data
  • Excellent telephone manner

Education and training 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and numeracy skills
  • GCSE Maths & English Grade C or above
